Chairman of Yamaha had confirmed the launch of Yamaha RX 100 in India.
Company had confirmed the new RX 100 will be no more 2 stroke 100 cc vehicle, but will be completely different in its segment.
Yamaha in India will 100% see deep hike in its sales parameters, once the Yamaha RX 100 is launched again in India. People of India loved the bike so much, that even today, we can see lot of vehicles on the roads with good condition. RX 100 had played an important role to develop the image of Yamaha in Indian hearts.
Yamaha RX 100 Launch Plan is Confirmed
Recently in an interview, Yamaha India Chairman , Eishin Chihana had revealed that Yamaha had not used the iconic RX100 monikers on any other products till now, as the company had more plans with it for the future. Hence it confirms that Yamaha RX 100 would be coming on Indian roads again. But the New Yamaha RX100 would not be like the previous version which was 2 stroke 100 cc vehicle, as it would not meet the parameters of BS-6 Norms.
Yamaha India also just cannot bring any bike, with the mark badge of RX-100, as the legend had to surpass the legendary RX 100 once again and re build the brand image strongly in Indian audience. The new model had to perfectly match the retro design of the previously manufactured vehicle. As every one knows that RX 100 was a massive boom hit in the market, hence the company had to keep in view that the new model should be fit with the previous design and also should meet the latest norms of BS-6 and would be 4 stroke Engine.
Time Line of the Re-birth of the Legend
Yamaha India is planning to re launch the vehicle by 2026 Fy. The bike enthusiasts are so eager to get the vehicle and play their part in the commuter society. Present Yamaha India avails 125cc and 150cc scooters and motorcycles, and 250 cc street bikes.
Company is also doing the test runs and trials for the Electric vehicles in India and the same would be launched for public in FY-2025. The company is operating its manufacturing facilities from 2 production units which are Greater Noida and Chennai. Yamaha India also exports its products in global market and stands 2nd in the world for Yamaha Exports where Indonesia is 1st in exporting Yamaha products internationally.
